I don’t think so. They didn’t use BOV these days. The noise is coming from the air bouning against the turbine while throttle valve is closed. It’s called turbo flutter or surge.

I have to say,this sounds almost as a V8 engine from some older aamerican muscle cars.But i guess thats logical,because this Audi has half a dodge viper engine in it.

This was in Germany, Hamburg.

You know, the streets and tracks have some serious corners here in europe. I’d crash in a wall too if I normally would drive in straight lines or one single oval only…

Race cars actually dont use blow off valves. Thats the compressor flutter. Blow off valves are redundant on race cars. They dont use them on rally cars, old ones and current gens.
