it’s called competition. until 2010 335i was the car to have. now audi has swapped the V8 for a supercharged V6, much like the 335i and when the designed it they had the 335i in mind to beat. the story will go on… beemer will make a faster car, audi an even faster one.. so it’s not like MY AUDI WON, MY BMW IS BETTER. it’s just competition. the winner I say is Bmw, the sell more cars then ever.

A4 (B8) is better than 3 series
A6 is not better than the 2010 bmw 5-series but audi will come out with a completley new model soon.
Q7 is better than .. X5/x6/x1

@PhaetonPower EEYY my father once had a Touareg R5, great car .. but now we have audi, the quality of an A4 should not be better than a Touareg .. but guess what? VW has alot of plastic in it, and they are not nice to drive, they are nice but not as nice as AUDI.

I must agree on the price tag, the S4 maybe more expensive atm but it has way more luxury and is indeed better looking. And i think Zuuman has a point in the fact that they did bring out an RS version of the 4 and the 5 series of audi that is sure to compete with the M3.

when you think about it the audi is equipped with the mmi, and B&O sound system so that would add some (000) to the price tag so if you put the nav in the bmw and add a high end sound system (if they have one like b&o i don’t know?) they will be pretty close to the same price!! Pus the aluminum trim is alot more money than wood so that will also add (000) to the price tag, but say what you will, they both are not that different of cars, but the audi looks better inside and out in my opinion!

@maximbollansee not higher segment but yes more expensive. They would not compare cars that are not comparable! Both have very similar engines, handling,…etc… They are comparable and what they say about it being 60 grand is bullshit, mine was 56 grand with pretty much every option. but maybe that is because i live in Canada, but i doubt it…..

@PhaetonPower i never said that bmw and vw are weak or cheap cars. i actually like both brands. i just now prefer audi, because i think they have done a lot with their cars. remember, the S4 currently is the first car to beat the bmw 335i. that’s quite an accomplishment, considering that audi has emerged famous over just 15 yrs.

Except the Audi S4 wasn’t designed to take on the 335i. It was designed to race against the BMW M3. M3>S4 any day.

They should had compare the 335 i Xdrive vs the S4… They are both good cars… just a question of taste…. But you should know that here in Europe the BMW cost $ 80.000.- and the S4 $ 95.000.- ( both with a good amount of optional.) So $ 60.000 it’s a bargain… just take both hahahahhaah………

Accept that you are just a pissed off VW owner like most. You want to convince yourself that VW is as good as audi and bmw, so you can sleep at night.
